A Lesson of a Lifetime

Attention all winter sport enthusiasts, Hip Chalets is pleased to announce that Quicksilver and Roxy have chosen Chamonix as the resort to host their two week intensive skiing and snowboarding course, new to 2012!

Throughout February these two sporting giants will be holding 2 six day courses open to anyone over the age of 14 and at a decent level of ability to perfect their skills with the help from pro riders from both teams and disciplines. Participants will hone their skills in 6 different resorts in the spiritual home of freeriding, Chamonix. Beneath the impressive form of Mont Blanc those involved will have the highest standard of supervision and in some cases one on one tuition in freeriding and back-country riding.

Present will be previous World Big Air Champion, Markku Koski, British competitor on the Freeride circuit James Stentiford, Chamonix natives and firm favourites on the freestyle and freeride scene the Charlet brothers, Jonathan and Jean Baptiste will also make up the Quicksilver team representing the snowboarders. Roxy will be fronted by the Lena Stoffel, Basa Stevulova, Margot Rozies and skier Andrea Binning.

Quicksilver have been running successful courses in surfing and skateboarding for years, however this is the first year they will be running one dedicated to skiing and snowboarding. Interest is believed to be high as these courses have been proven to deliver results and a fun time is had by all.
