About this chalet
Chalet des Iles is a charming family-chalet located in a very peaceful location in the valley of Chamonix with only a short drive to the biggest ski area Les Grands Montets.
This very cosy and comfortable chalet has a social and pleasant layout with a large open plan kitchen and living area with a big fireplace and direct access out to the garden. The views are stunning overlooking the Mont Blanc and the Aiguille du Midi.
From the chalet you can walk to the nursery slopes of Les Chosalets (15 minutes) and ski the whole way back from Les Grands Montets when the snow-conditions allow.
The cross-country tacks and walking paths pass just outside the house and there is an endless choice of fun toboggan slopes for the children,
Chalet des Iles offers affordable accommodation but with stylish and classic interiors and plenty of comfort.
Chalet Description

The ground floor of Chalet des Iles has a double bedroom and a family room with one bunk bed and two small single beds. These two bedrooms share a WC and bathroom, where the sauna also is located.
The fully equipped kitchen has an open plan into the dining area and living room. This space is very social, beautifully decorated and the open fire creates a welcoming feel to this space. This area also gives access the garden.
An open and very beautiful wooden staircase leads up to the first floor, which offers a Master Suite with ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet. There is also access out to a balcony and the views from this room are beautiful over the Aiguille du Midi.
Opposite is a small bedroom with a built-in double bed. Across from here is the last bedroom of the chalet with double bed and these two bedrooms share a bathroom and WC.
The garden has also a separate guesthouse for the chalet staff.

Location

Chalet des Iles is located in the little hamlet Des Isles on the way to Argentiere in the Chamonix valley.
Argentiere is a 3-minute drive and so is the largest ski area Les Grands Montets from where you can ski all the way back to the chalet when snow conditions allow.
Chamonix center is a 10-minute drive and the cross-country tracks and walking paths pass by just outside the chalet.
The lovely nursery slopes of Les Chosalets are located a 15-minute walk from the chalet (3 minutes by car).
Geneva airport is 1h 15 minutes by car. |
