Booking & Availability

What is the minimum stay?

Most luxury chalet bookings in Chamonix require a 7-night stay (Saturday to Saturday) during peak winter.

Shorter stays may be available outside peak periods.

 

How far in advance should I book?

For peak dates (Christmas, New Year, February half-term, Easter), we recommend booking 8–12 months in advance.

For other periods, 3–6 months is typically sufficient.

 

We also take last-minute bookings regularly and we can have the chalet ready for you with one day's notice!

 

Do you offer catered and self-catered chalets?

Yes. We offer a range of service levels, including:

  • Self-catered with concierge support

  • Fully catered luxury chalet experience (Gold service)

All options include our Chamonix-based concierge team.

 

Can I book a chalet exclusively?

Yes. All Hip Chalets properties are offered on an exclusive-use basis, ideal for:

All our chalets come with a personal and highly comfortable Self-Catered package which includes the following services:

  • Exclusive use of the chalets and their facilities

  • A dedicated concierge in resort, on call for any queries

  • Pre-planning of your holiday, restaurant bookings, extra services, adventures, well-being etc

  • Mid-stay housekeeping and end of stay clean

  • High quality bed-linen, towels, robes and slippers. 

  • Luxurious bath products

  • Access to our extra services a la carte such as private chefs, meal deliveries, in resort driving, childcare and much more

You can also chose TWO CATERED options with your holiday:

Silver Catering: 

  • Continental breakfast buffet laid out each morning

  • 3-course meals served on 4 evenings of 7, buffet styled or on family sharing serving platters.

  • Wine served with dinner

  • Daily housekeeping

  • All bed-linen, towels and bath products

  • A dedicated concierge in resort, on call for any queries

  • Pre-planning of your holiday, restaurant bookings, extra services, adventures, well being etc.

Gold Catering: 

  • Meet & Greet with complimentary Ruinart Champagne and welcome gifts

  • Wonderful breakfast served on 6 mornings including several cooked options.

  • (A continental breakfast will be prepared the night before the chef's day off, the table prepared and the cleaning team will clear up after breakfast.)

  • Afternoon cake laid out daily

  • Pre-dinner canapés served before each evening meal

  • Delicious 4-course dinner prepared by your private chef and served on 6 evenings of 7

Geneva International Airport is the closest, approximately 1 hour 15 minutes by private transfer.

Do you arrange airport transfers?

Yes. We arrange private luxury transfers from all major regional airports.

 

Can you arrange helicopter transfers?

Yes, helicopter transfers from Geneva can be arranged (subject to conditions and availability).

How do I get around Chamonix?

Chamonix is a multi-area ski valley, not ski-in/ski-out.
