Equipment can be hired from Chamonix or we can arrange it through our concierge service.

PARAPENTE

Take in the wondrous views of the Alps parapenting over Chamonix.

The Chamonix valley is perfect for keen parapenters, as well as novices wanting to experience that flying feeling whilst soaking up the impressive panorama of the Mont Blanc mountain chain.

RAFTING, CANYONING & HYDROSPEED

After the winter when temperatures start to rise, the water levels become higher, bringing with it awesome rapids to ride!

Waters sports include canyoning, which is not for the faint-hearted and involves climbing, diving, absailing and swimming in water with strong currents.

Hydro speeding is something that has been recently introduced and is fast becoming a popular way to ride the rapids of the rivers! Using a large body-board as float, you hold on for dear life and hurtle down the rapids!

Rafting on the river Arve is equally as adrenaline-pumping, and is a fantastic way to explore Chamonix from the water as the river crosses the town centre!

HORSE RIDING

One of the best ways to discover the Chamonix valley is on horseback.

For novices or confident riders there is something for everyone.
There are numerous riding centers in the valley. The Mont Blanc horse center runs all year round and you can trek on horseback for half a day, full day or for several days! Other lovely places to ride, especially for children is at Paradis des Praz. With a wonderful river to play in and outdoor play areas in the summer there are numerous fun and exciting activities including pony rides.

HIKING & TRAIL RUNNING

Chamonix has over 350km of well marked hiking routes to suit everyone.

Choose between half-day hikes, full days or stop-overs in a mountain hut.
Chamonix has a selection of challenging climbs and beginners and experts can take advantage of the 19 bolted outdoor routes, whilst the Alquilles Rouges and Mont Blanc Massif offer many more possibilities for those prepared to take them on. Guides can be arranged to help navigate Mont Blanc.

Glacier walking is also incredibly popular and a truly unique experience away. Grab the crampons, that can be hired in town and go for a hike up the stunning Mer de Glace, Argentiere or Le Tour glaciers. A mountain guide is essential and can be booked through our concierge services.

YOGA, PRIVATE TRAINING & MASAGE

If you want to take a break from the excitement of all the action or want to spend your holiday in relaxation and wellness Yoga, massages or day trips to surrounding areas for lovely walks are easily done.

Private Yoga sessions can be arranged in the privacy of the beautiful surroundings of your private summer chalet and is a wonderful way to spend your time enjoying the peace and tranquility the mountains bring.
