LA FERME DES DRUS
Standing since 1794, La Ferme des Drus is one of the oldest buildings in the Chamonix valley, now beautifully restored the location and chalet offers truly understated luxury.
The renovation has been completed in keeping with the soul of the chalet, the original roof structure preserved as the centrepiece, noble materials and the knowledge of local artisans used throughout.
The farmhouse spans over 560m2 and is located in one of the most sought after areas of Chamonix - Les Bois, a 10 minute walk to the lifts serving the Flégère / Brévent ski area.
5 suites are split over three levels of the chalet, each one with its own unique feel and decor.
La Ferme des Drus enjoys a stunning granite stone pool and SPA area inspired by the Japanese onsen and the old washing fountains of the Les bois area. A haven after a day's skiing or hiking.
A furnished terrace just off the kitchen provides the perfect spot for long, balmy summer days, whether enjoying leisurely breakfasts in the morning sun, relaxed alfresco lunches, or evening aperitifs as the village quietens into dusk.
La Ferme des Drus also benefits from a lovely garden, and one of its most unique features is the beautifully restored traditional bread oven, which once served as the heart of village life and an important gathering place for the local community.
