Dating back to 1794, La Ferme des Drus is one of the oldest buildings in the Chamonix valley. Beautifully restored with exceptional care and sensitivity, this remarkable farmhouse offers a rare blend of historic character and understated luxury.

The renovation has been carried out in keeping with the soul of the property, preserving the original roof structure as its centrepiece while celebrating noble materials and the craftsmanship of local artisans throughout. Rich in authenticity yet effortlessly elegant, every detail has been thoughtfully considered to honour the heritage of the farmhouse while introducing a refined sense of comfort and contemporary alpine living.

Spanning over 560m², La Ferme des Drus is located in the highly sought-after area of Les Bois, just a 10-minute walk from the lifts serving the Flégère / Brévent ski area.

The chalet is arranged over three levels and offers five beautifully designed suites, each with its own distinct atmosphere and décor.

The Suites

The Master Suite Set beneath the eaves, the Master Suite showcases the chalet’s spectacular original roof structure and timeless materials. Designed as an independent apartment for two adults, it features a 180x200 bed, bath and shower, separate WC, and breathtaking views of the Drus massif. Muted tones and stretched fabrics create a warm and serene atmosphere within this open, light-filled space.

Second Eaves Suite Also located under the eaves, this intimate double suite offers an enveloping atmosphere and spectacular views across the Drus massif.

The Family Suite Designed for two adults and four children, the Family Suite includes a charming children’s refuge-style dormitory, its own shower room and separate WC, as well as a balcony with magnificent views of the Drus.

The Main Floor Suite Perfect for two adults, this elegant en-suite bedroom combines soft tones with understated simplicity. A private balcony offers uninterrupted views of the surrounding mountains.

The Garden Level Suite The most intimate of the five suites, this garden-level retreat is ideal for two adults. With direct garden access, warm tones and enveloping materials create a soft, cocoon-like atmosphere.

All suites include a TV, WiFi, Bluetooth speaker, safe, welcome products, and hairdryer. A cot can also be added on request.

Living Spaces & Wellness

La Ferme des Drus features an absolutely stunning indoor pool, inspired by the Japanese onsen and drawing on the washing fountains of Les Bois.  The pool and its fountain have been built from great blocks of Mont Blanc granite, the same material that runs through the whole house, here given its fullest expression. A sauna, hammam and a tea room looking out over the water creates an incredible tranquil space that envelopes you.

In-house massages, body treatments, yoga, pilates or stretching sessions can all be arranged on request in the dedicated treatment room, a peaceful haven after a day skiing or hiking in the mountains.

A furnished terrace just off the kitchen provides the perfect setting for long summer days, whether enjoying leisurely breakfasts in the morning sun, relaxed alfresco lunches, or evening aperitifs as the village settles into dusk.

The kitchen area is vast and fully equipped, perfectly suited to both self-catered stays and fully catered dining experiences.

The property also benefits from a beautiful garden, home to one of its most unique and historic features: a fully restored traditional bread oven. Once the heart of village life and an important gathering place for the local community, it adds a truly authentic and timeless touch to this exceptional chalet.
