UPDATED BOOKING TERMS & SAFETY MEASURES

The safety of our clients is from now on our highest priority here at Hip Chalets, followed by ensuring a relaxing and wonderful stay.

In these very testing and unprecedented times, we also want nothing else than for our existing and new clients to receive a fair deal when they choose to book their next holiday with us.

 

With so much uncertainly in the world right now, we want to share all the measures that we have implemented in cleanliness, safety and flexibility when it comes to making a booking with us.

CLEANING PROTOCOL

We are following the latest official guidelines of cleanliness in our chalets, and our staff are trained to the adopt new way of servicing the properties correctly in the light of Covid-19.

Bath products and kitchen cleaning products will all be supplied in unopened bottles. 

All our staff will always wear masks in and around the properties.

Hand-gels are placed out in the entrance of the chalet and around the property.

SAFETY MEASUREMENTS

Apart from being cleaned and disinfected according to the Covid-19 guidelines, all our chalets will be supplied with complimentary gloves and masks for our clients.

We will also allow for a comprehensive virtual tour of the chalet instead of a physical check-in. Chalet manuals and on-call support will be enhanced to ensure a super smooth and comfortable stay.

DEPOSIT PAYMENTS

We are lowering our deposits to 20% rather than 30% when making a booking.

In case that you are unable to travel because of Covid-19, we will keep the deposit to be used as a credit towards another booking within

12 monthsDeposit payments are non refundable.

BALANCE PAYMENTS

The balance payments are due 2 weeks prior to arrival for bookings up to

7 nights with holiday dates taking place until the end of November 2020.

For holidays taking place after November 2020, the balance payment is due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

If clients are unable to travel on the booked dates as a result of Covid-19, the full amount can be used as a credit for another booking within 12 months. Balance payments are non refundable.

THE TRUST

All clients making a booking from 10th April until the Covid-19 restrictions have ended*, will be 100% guaranteed to these terms and conditions as Hip Chalets will keep all funds in a separate, trusted account with funds only being withdrawn whithin 24h of clients arriving in resort.

We therefore guarantee all our clients that are making bookings under these terms, that their payments are safe and should Hip Chalets be unable to provide the booked holiday for whatever reason after it has been changed to a later date, these clients will be refunded with 100% of the money they have paid.*

* You will be clearly informed about your booking conditions at the time of reservation, to avoid any confusion. These terms are not applicable to CHALET MATRIX.
